The truth is, I love people watching and the bus offers a front row seat (sometimes, quite literally) into people’s lives. The other day I saw a woman bringing her cat home from a doctor’s visit in a box, along with a bag of toys and treats from the pet store.

The drivers are pretty patient and there are videos that can show you. But it’s the easiest rack I’ve ever used (and they’ve been consistent across cities). I was also nervous the first time. But you just squeeze the handle at the top. Lower the rack, put your bike on it (it shows where your front tire goes) and lift the spring arm onto the front tire. That’s it. Getting off takes 15 seconds.
